Matthew 10:28. Don't be bluffed into silence by the threats of bullies. There's nothing they can do to your soul, your core being. Save your fear for God, who holds your entire life--body and soul--in his hands. (The Message)
At FFC, we strive to teach God’s truth in ways that impact a teen's choices and actions. Fun activities and building solid relationships are resources for reaching their everyday lives and experiences. Young adults must be needed, valued, and connected. Their church experience must be relevant to their daily lives. Teens have time, availability, and enthusiasm to accomplish great things for His Kingdom. By teaching them to develop a biblical worldview and relate that to real-world living, we can ignite an awakening that will impact generations to come. For the same reason that Jesus gave his attention to young people, we believe a teens' most powerful resource is when mentors and teachers take the time to develop caring relationships.
Sunday Morning Teen Interactive
Each Sunday morning service, during our Family Interactive, teens and their parents have the option of allowing their teen to group up with other young adults in our Teen Interactive. Led by our Youth Ministers, this interactive gives teens an opportunity to talk about the message of the day with their peers and relate to each other in ways that are most appropriate and meaningful to teens.
Young Adult Community Group (every other Sunday night)
Every other Sunday evening, young adults are invited to the home of one of our Youth Ministers to share in a time of fun and interactivity. Parents can be assured that their teens are in a supervised, appropriate environment that is God-centered, yet fun and relevant.
